Joseph was born and raised in the Greater Vancouver Area. During his undergraduate studies in history at Simon Fraser University, he learned about the struggles workers faced during the Industrial Revolution in their fight for improved workplace rights. Joseph’s passion for employment law and advocacy then grew during law school at Bond University in Australia, where he earned his Juris Doctor degree with First Class Distinction.

After graduating, Joseph returned to the Tri-Cities and joined a full-service law firm where he gained litigation experience in a variety of practice areas such as personal injury, estates, contract disputes, and employment.

Joseph brings to Labour Rights Law a wealth of litigation experience, having represented clients in British Columbia’s Provincial Court, Supreme Court, and Court of Appeal. Joseph also has experience appearing before various tribunals and administrative boards in British Columbia.

Joseph prides himself on advocating for his clients, whether in the courtroom or through negotiations. He takes a collaborative approach with his clients and works to navigate them through complex legal issues with care and empathy.

Outside of his law practice, Joseph has a passion for history, sports, and cinema.
