I am heartbroken! Today the civilized World lost one of the greatest jurists of all time. Justice Ginsburg shattered the glass ceiling and led the way for women to be rightly and justly appointed to the Bar and then the Bench. While jurists and lawyers alike are generally conservative by nature, Ginsburg broke that mold. She was an outstanding progressive voice on the SCOTUS. The law is richer and more just because of her. Justice Ginsburg’s voice will be missed, but will never be silenced.
May she rest in peace knowing that the civilized World is better because of her life’s work.
